So I've had a very productive night, like seriously! I've written a load of Raider!AU and even have like 1,343 words in chronological order!

But like I totally need help, sadly everythingf1 hasn't turned up any help, but I need people who speak either German, French or Finish to pester about some translations, but idk if anyone on my flist can help me here ( Read more... )

I'm currently in the process of writing a pre-WW II fic. Perhaps I can help? :)

Oh that would be awesome, these are the ones I'm looking for atm, just stuff that'll show up at some point in this fic XD
1) We are the ones who know how to fall-German
2) Hold (as in Stop)-German, French
3) Stand your ground-German
4) Wait until nightfall, we'll circle around then-German, French
5) Storms are coming down from the north-Finnish
6) A whole lifetime ago-German

Lol I know they're weird but there are ~*~battles and all sorts in this fic

Battles? *ggggggggggggg* Mine has a battle scene too, albeit a short one. Anyway, my German is a little rusty (I won't even talk about French as you'd be better off asking malways or sayakaf1) but here goes!

1. ________________
2. Halt! or Halten!
3. Stehen Ihren Boden
4. Warten Sie bis der Dunkelheit, werden wir Kreis um dann
5. Myrskyt ovat tulos sa alas pohjoisesta (I think it's supposed to be tulossa, but I'm not sure)
6. Ein ganzes Leben lang vor

Right. I hope that helps, though you may have to run them through a reliable online translator. Yours truly is simply armed with a dictionary and a few (unhelpful) books on grammar so... *sheepish*

Also, I'm not sure how to translate the first one into Deutsche, but I do know that it should have the words "wie", "fallen" and "wissen".

Sorry if I'm of little to no use! *hides*

Yep battles, mine's set in medieval Germany and centered around a group of bandits/highwaymen *g* So there's a lot of fights at the beginning when they're trying to establish a reputation.

But thank you so much! I'll deffinitely check them through an online translator, do you know the names of any reliable ones? Yeah the first one is a bit weird, I want to use that as the title of my fic, but I'd prefer it in German because of where the fic is set. Although it's not like the end of the world if I end up using the English XD
