(no subject)
I am totally back LJ! Back in a posting things/commenting/being on IM/being generally weird sort of way.
I went through a lot of shit, I'm still not well, but I do know what's wrong with me (Fibromyalgia) which is no fun at all but now I know what it is I'm not eating away at myself with worry so it's not as bad as it seemed.
Formula One season is over and that kicked me into depression the same way it normally does. Despite my disappointment at Vettel winning I actually think they'll be a good champion. Young, funny, charming, he'll be a good spokes person in the way the Raikkonen and Hamilton weren't.
Rugby internationals are on at the moment which helped pull me back after the end of F1 season. There have been some fantastic games and sitting in front of the fire watching them is a massive dose of nostalgia and happiness which is really what I needed to knock some sense into my sad little fit of moping, if I’m honest.
Last week I had a couple of day’s holiday in Brighton with friends, which is really what set me right. I saw Bellowhead again, which oh my fucking hell, they are the most amazing live band. There are bands whose music means more to me and bands I see with my friends but hell, Bellowhead are just so brilliant live. And just so much fucn.
While in Brighton I also went to see Harry Potter! Oh my god. Just if you’ve seen it come flail with me. Only now all I want to do is write fic. So so much Harry potter fic. Mostly gen with a huge side of Harry/Draco leanings. I went through all my word docs, turns out I’ve got over 100,000 words of various fics, the longest being 4,300. Oh dear. MY HEAD.
Despite my sad little self failing to write anything I’m still doing art for Sherlockbigbang and I am excited about it. Damn me. IT WILL BE FUN. At least that’s what I keep telling myself.
