Another month, another meeting of minds...[filtered]
Well then, Mayfield, what have we learned about this cage of a town, thus far?
Mayfield is one continuous loop. There is no true end of the town. That being said, the area has expanded, with more and more streets and houses appearing to accomidate incoming souls.
It is my current theory, that these bodies are not truly ours, rather just mannequins that house fragments of our souls. The soul inside the body shapes it to a familiar form, however, the bodies have none of the familiar powers.
Furthermore, said bodies are still under direct control of The Powers That Be. This allows them to manually jack any body whose soul is causing too much trouble.
Mayor John Doe. What a simple name. Most drones have names like this, and act so normal, it's abnormal. Were they left this way intentionally, to mock us? I have noticed that regardless of the difficulty of homework I assign drones, they always get above-average grades. Each drone, however, has their own past, that becomes intertwined with the soul that the body houses: The Mayor acts as if I've lived here my whole "life".
Officer Grady. I still have yet to encounter him. That being said, I have not misbehaved at all. Does he truly exist, or is he simply a phantom who arrives as a warning to those who would go against the Will of this world? I could use some input on this subject.
If the Mayor is to be believed, Mayfield is somewhere in the USA. And despite the "1950s" vibe, the fact that Sealand is on maps here means that it's past 1967, when the micronation was founded.
Events are ways for the soul to regain more essence, to regain more familiaraity. By participating, we are bonded closer to the town, and so the town gives us more leeway. This is simply speculation, however.
As usual, any other input and observations is welcome from all parties.
Incidentally, Marie, how did your "date" with the Kishin go? It's safe to assume that short of a mass brainwashing, the town has fabricated all the media around this event.
