[filtered from drones]
Mayfield Journal - Observation.
Those kids launched a major assault against the powers that govern this world. They appear to have been brainwashed, but only for an hour. The effects seem to usually last a day. This crime was much more severe than the norm, so why the lesser punishment?
Why only brainwashing? There seems to be any number of things they could do. How, for example, do we keep things truly private, if they watch our every move? Or...are there limits to the powers that be? Is it possible to overthrow? To escape? To change the rules?
The Mayor, that insufferable police officer...has anyone met anyone else who seems to be against us, and not just an ignorant drone? Has anyone even met the Mayor himself? And what of a court system? I saw a classified in the Mayfield Times saying Lawyers were wanted...
Asura, Medusa, and now Arachnae...enemies from my world. Maka, Soul, Kid, Patti, Liz, Crona...they're all here, too...but others seem to know each other, too...Simon, Kamina, Nia...Edward and Alphonse...All different people, pulled from their own worlds...is there something connecting us all, beyond that?
They let us roam free, but what do they expect from us? To just live life? Accept it? It's not as if, aside from the occasonal wierd happening, this place is terrible. No death, plenty of food, shelter, and all basic commodities...
This world...it's not an afterlife...what is it? If we could understand it better, perhaps fate would be more in our hands...
Please! Anyone who has observations, comments, or answers, respond to this blog entry. Only by working as one, can we defy all.

Dear School Board:
This is science teacher F. Stein. A number of students have expressed interest in a field trip to City Hall, to meet with our fair Mayor and learn more about our wonderful city. On that note, I would like to present this formal request for said trip. A curriculum has been worked out, along with a test on the student's observations of City Hall. Bus services are not nessisary, but welcome.
Many Thanks,
Professor F. Stein
