A Good Day
Been on a fabric dyeing workshop today, had a great time & now have 18 bits of fabric soaking in plastic bags:-) We used 3 colours to make 15 differents colours. 15 pieces will be straightforward plain colours but the other three were scrunched or folded & had several colours dripped or poured on them so that could lead to some interesting patterns. We were all old enough to have fond memories of tye dyeing way back when. Just have to wait until tomorrow to see the results:-( Of course I had to buy the dyes & then go to Ikea to buy some Kilner type jars to try another technique the teacher mentioned. So now I have a new favourite interest!
The other good thing is that my son's friend has reached the finals of the long jump in the Commonwealth Games.
