Grease monkey!
I'm probably ruining my keyboard by typing right now, but what the hell. I have a bike that I borrowed from Zach, and as it turns out the problem of the pedals skipping was actually that two links in the chain aren't moving freely. They're stuck together just hard enough that the boke gears can't make them flatten out (though I can do the job with pliers.) It seems to be loosening up the more I screw with it, but that might just be wishful thinking. Either way, I needed to take a break. I like the smell of WD40, but there's a limit.
The last few days have been fun interspersed with dullness. I've had good times with Zach and Laura, and gotten back in touch with one of the two people I wanted to find once I moved back down. She has a Myspace and deviantart, but for some reason I couldn't ever find it before this week. The next guy is going to be tough... I have his home phone number (assuming he still lives with his mom, which is likely... they had a big house and a lot of the family lived there) but randomly calling the dude at home isn't what I was hoping for. He has an instant messenger but he's only online evrey month or so, and no myspace or anything like that... he'll be a tricky one. Or maybe I'm just overcomplicating things to give myself something to do.
Anyway, need to go pet the white parts of my cat with my greasy hands... MWAHAHA. That'll learn him.
