36th Birthday Jambalaya!
It was a pretty regular day for the most part. We don't have alot of cash these days but a few things happened that were pretty cool :) My brother called and sang happy birthday over our answering machine (which I have yet to listen to - thanks for the call John!), and I got to hold my 3 1/2 month old baby while blowing out the candles on my chocolate cake, which was served with coffee ice cream. Strangest of all my husband downloaded an interesting variety of happy birthday songs which are currently playing over his computer. They included versions in spanish, one sung by the Sesame Street muppets, and the last I just heard was Happy birthday.. to Jesus (it was sweet)
I choose not to be depressed about being another year older. After all, it's one year less 'till I'm in glory with Jesus and Mom and all those gone on before. Not that I want to wish this life away by a long shot (I love my family so much it hurts) but there are grand things to look forward too when you're a Christian!
