Today's Writer's Block
Today's question is "Who is your favourite celebrity right now?", which is a little bit hard for me to answer, because once I decide I like a famous person, I tend to keep liking them, so I like celebrities I've only known of for a short amount of time (eg, Zooey Deschanel) just as much as one's I've known of for as long as I can remember (eg, Julie Andrews). There's only a few I like less than I used to (Angelina springs to mind - I still love her and all, but she's not like she used to be), and some I've never liked (Mel Gibson, for instance, because he is a racist d-bag).
However, my variation on today's question is this: Have you ever had a dream about a famous person? I don't mean "OMG so-and-so is freakin' hot, Imma dream about him/her all day", I mean an actual, literal, happens-in-your-head-while-you're-asleep type of dream. I've had a few, a couple of which were sexytiems dreams, but most of which were just regular dreams that happened to include famous people (or characters they play).
The not-appropriate-for-readers-under-eighteen dreams were about a) Michaela Conlin, and b) the celebrity who is remaining nameless (though the dream happened several years before we actually met ... premonition?). The other dreams I've had included the following celebrities: The Beatles (well, most of them. John and George were actually there, and I somehow knew that Ringo was around, I just didn't actually see him), some of the original cast of the Australian series of Gladiators (don't remember which ones now), some True Blood characters (Sookie, Lafayette, Terry and Tara, as far as I remember), Isaac Hanson (look, I don't know), Laurie Oakes (and elderly Australian political correspondent ... nope, no idea wtf that was about), and a few other randoms. Clearly I watch too much television before bed.
