This is said with fondness, but the 2 AM shows *grin*.

The pile-of-kitten things is definitely shmoopy, but I hafta say I loved reading it. The voices ring true throughout, and - even though I can't imagine it actually airing this way - I think the emotional image is spot on. Especially the ending... geektwin powers activate!

I'd love to read anything else you happen to write; I'm friending you if you don't mind.

And awww, what a sweet comment, thankyou! I know the plot is a way off what would actually happen, but as long as the characters aren't totally OOC, I'm happy :) And OMG, they are such geektwins (which, btw, is my new favourite term). I love scenes in the show with them together.

Glad you liked the Geektwins thing - I've commented on that over on TWoP a few times and usually get flamed. Not many people seem to get the connection but for me it's been sealed ever since the ending of Catching Out where Emily & Spencer were harassing Morgan about his "lady friend".

Do you actually remember the Wonder Twins? They came along a bit after my comic book/Saturday cartoon days, but I remembered them from when my kids used to watch cartoons.

Also, do you follow Elizabeth Bear's recaps and comments on CM? Her user name is matociquala and the tag is "geeks with guns". If you haven't, check it out and you'll be reading on that for a week, I betcha. *grin*

Gah, TWOP. I can't even with that site anymore. I used to lurk on the forums a bit when "Lost" was still a thing, but the CM forum got really old after a while. Totally agree on Emily and Spencer being nerdbuddies.

The Wonder Twins were a little before my time I think? Or else they just weren't a thing in Australia perhaps?

I have read a few of matociquala's recaps, but I had no idea she'd done so many! Thanks for reintroducing me, I'm gonna go read more :)

I was already a CM fan, but I hafta say E. Bear changed the way I watch the show - made it more enjoyable, that is.

I also found out in the process of exchanging comments and reading her journal that she's a name-brand science fiction writer (duh me). Me being the old-time sci-fi fan I am, I've started reading her books. It's neat to sorta kinda know an actual much-published author.
