The Gay Marriage Amendment...

Unless, of course you live in Texas. The constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage has passed with a 73% vote. I know this is Texas and full of stupid, right-wing, conservative, KKK members, but I had hope.
A false hope - but when you give up hope, you give up everything.
So...I shall now be counting the days till I am out of this forsaken state where I can go and have my constitution protect my right to live life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
Whereas I have no feelings on being married right now, I would have liked to have the option.
