(no subject)
I have officially applied to get tefl certified in january with tefl worldwide Prague. Finally. I hope my essays make sense, aren't too boring or repetitive, and I hope there's still a spot for me in january.
Still working at the JFK library foundation, still doing bitch working (getting people ink for their printers, making reservations - for Henrietta's Table, so delish!, holding taxis), and membership stuff. i'm a pro at stuffing envelopes and using the postage meter after this week: stuffed 800+ envelopes and sent them out in 2.5 days. And nary a paper cut do I have. But I'm so ashy now.
Belle is still recoperating. Most of her skin being stapled together has taken, except in one area that the vets will try to close up again the end of this coming week. But she's back to being a scamp and wants to play and run around.
And, this week I'm dog-sitting the town over, for family friends with two Weimeraners (i think they're show dogs, to boot). I'm trying to get my clothes etc together today and figure out what I'll cook myself all week. Not looking forward to having to wake up earlier each morning to drive to the stupid commuter rail. There's talk of a fare increase which is maddening since it's already expensive and the service is so craptacular. Oh the joys of being a commuter!
