my love is the perfect crime
so working a lot leaves me with unfortunately a lot of time to think about work so i'm going to get it all out now so i don't have to think about it for the rest of the day. yesterday boss man had to have a sit down with heidi to talk about some rumors that were spreading and to talk about her performance. she ended up crying and it's really hard to watch someone cry who you actually like. other people have sat in there and cried but for the most part i just think they should suck it up and not cry at work. ah well. she was fine she was just dissappointed in herself. hopefully she turns it around.
our big corporate visit is today so yesterday we were all worker bees with a lot of projects to do. i was in charge of going back to my sidecaps and endcaps. it took me pretty much all day when it should have taken only an hour. BUT this shit always happens. they always put me back on projects and they give me 8 things to do before i start that. then it turns out i am the only one who can cover breaks. then i had 8 million calls about people needing jobs and somewhere in between there i think they forget that there are guests in the store that need help. i really wish i were like kelly and could run around the store at lightning speed and get shit done but unfortunately i'm not. when i have to improve something it takes more time than just throwing something to fill in a hole. and that's what makes it look really nice in the end but whatever. the point is that i didn't finish all of the things my boss wanted me to so then i left work feeling not so awesome. i always feel like he is really dissappointed when i don't do everything he asked me to do. i hear the things he says about people when they fuck things up so i wonder what he says about me too. but then i usually shake it off because mistakes are part of life and not everything gets done when we plan it to. oh well.
i woke up earlier today then i usually do on my days off. i think i am going to go to the park because it's really nice to be outside when it is still early in the day. I'm going to go to Apollo park. pablo told me there are lobsters in the water there. i want to see a random lobster. and then maybe i'll go to the movies. and then eventually buy food so i don't starve. i went to this super market called Food4Less the other day and it really was super cheap! i never liked that place before because it looked ghetto but it turns out it is more of like a warehouse. i am just used to the traditional supermarkets with big bright shiny lights. well pretty much everything is bright and shiny and perfectly organized. but i got a bunch of free food/drinks bc i bought other things. score! i also went to Vons and it is really dark in there which weirded me out. at first i thought maybe they were having issues with their power. dark supermarkets make me think there is too much dirt that needs to be hidden. lighting like that should be saved for fine dining. there are too many different supermarkets here. like 9 in the same town. they are probably all owned by the same company. hahaha.
