I decided that for my bday I want a camera, but now I need help in deciding what I should get.
Basically I'm looking at two options
$400 camera
Sometime like the Canon Powershot
Cheap
Good MP
Small & Light
Can't change lenses
~$800 camera
Either Rebel or 20D or maybe an older model?
Expensive
Good MP
Big & Bulky
Can get all kinds of fun lenses
I really want the digital SLR camera but my concern is that its going to be "too much" for when we go outdoors/travel. Afterall who wants to be climbing Hood with 2lbs hanging on their necks? I am also afraid that if I pay so much for the camera I will be toos cared to take it with me. I guess kind of like buying Manolo Blahniks but then never wearing them outside because they might get dirty.
Since I know so many of you love to photograph, what is your opinion?
