(no subject)
I signed the lease for the summer apartment today. It's right next door to where i'm living now, but it has a balcony with a view of the Pru, and the AC should be turned on. I'm very excited for the schoolwork to be over and for the work work to settle down into a routine. Training a team isn't really all that fun when you're getting trained at the same time.
Why I want summer:
long lunch breaks
slosh ball in the park
trips to the cape/beach
freedom at 5 pm (ok, 6 or 7)
tapping watermelons
staying tan
bike rides to the grocery store
garden parties

Evenings grilling on the balcony
summer poetry
reminiscing about Plantation Towers
pod decorating contest
pod wars
writing songs with grant
squatting in bridge housing
and more. When the umbrella goes up, it's time to come down.
