Room 302 [Monday afternoon]

Feb 10, 2014 16:48

There were few things in life more irritating than being sick -- or, worse yet, being sick and having the nagging feeling that you'd missed out on something due to your illness.

Celia had spent her weekend buried under blankets with a stack of books to entertain her as she let her body fight whatever she'd caught. Monday morning saw her feeling well enough to go to class, and she'd picked up enough that she knew she needed to catch up on the radio broadcast.

Somewhat caught up, Celia was torn between feeling superior to the people who'd gone through the insanity of the weekend, and feeling left out. As much as she was glad she hadn't suddenly gotten married or lost her mind, it sounded like nearly everyone she knew had.

For the moment, though, she had her door open and was tidying up her side of the room. Being under the weather didn't exactly lend itself to careful housekeeping, though, particularly when one had magic at one's disposal. Celia was lounging on her bed, hair about her shoulders, and was lazily magicking up discarded teacups and saucers and books that had fallen under the bed.

To be fair, though, that was how she'd clean her room if she was well, too. Old habits die hard.

[open door and post! I got called out of town unexpectedly on a family emergency this weekend. let me have your SOW madness vicariously. slow while i'm at work whooooo.]
