I'll play! And I think most of these are gimmes, but I'm still at work and can't really think of anything too creative. So here is the latest meme by way of, oh, everybody:
1. Pick one dozen movies that are ones that you have special feelings about.
2. Pick a few lines of dialogue that mean something to you.
3. As people guess the film, strike out that entry.
4. If possible, after the film is guessed, explain why that movie made the list
1. Sorry we hurt your field, mister. -- missbingley got this one, a great line immediately following the giddiest three minutes of cinema ever.

4. We're bicoastal, if you consider the Mississippi River one of the coasts. - sleestak got this, which I knew was a total gimme, but I still say this all the time.

6. You are a parent's wet dream, OK? - sleestak again -- had a hard time picking something from this that wasn't completely obvious, and I guess I didn't do a good job. Either that, or everyone else knows this by heart, too.
7. Eateries that operate within the designated square downstairs count as food court. Anything outside of said designated square counts as an autonomous unit for mid-mall snacking. missbingley again!

11. Eight hours ago I was Max Belmont, English major, college senior. Now I am Max Belmont, who does... nothing. And rexmanning got this one.
12. People think it's all about misery and desperation and death and all that shit which is not to be ignored, but what they forget is the pleasure of it. Otherwise we wouldn't do it. After all, we're not fucking stupid. At least, we're not that fucking stupid. And once again, missbingley got it!
