Day 03- A picture of you and your friends

This picture was taken in the Plaka neighbourhood in Athens, Greece, about three years ago (I am getting old, you guys. I feel like this picture was taken only days ago). We were staying in the dirtiest hotel in what turned out to be a not fantastic area of Athens. We didn't really get to explore the area (when we did, we got followed around for an hour by two guys who asked us to 'come to a park for five or six minutes and talk about the trip'. NO THANKS), so when we took the subway to Plaka the next night, the four of us wandered around for ages, enjoying our limited freedom. :P
This is cheesy: these women (and Maggie, who did not come on the trip and, so, is not in the picture) are the best friends I could ask for. They're all beautiful, strong, intelligent people who are already doing great things with their lives. I can't imagine life without them. I live with Maggie and Sam in Ottawa but, as Helen lives in Toronto and Nicole lives in Kingston, we don't get to see each other very often now. Still, even over long distances, we're best friends, and hopefully it'll be that way for the rest of our lives. :P
