My day got off to a wonderful start. A computer component went out in our oven, causing the broiler to kick on and run ver hot. You couldn't place your hand on the range top without burning it. To make matters worse, we couldn't turn it off ; we had to unplug it from the wall in order to shut it off. Mom called the repair guy today and the part that needs to be replaced runs almost $200, not including the labor. So we are without a stove until I get paid, which will be next week. So much for me baking for our potluck. Oh well, on a good note, work has been rather slow today and I hope it stays like this until quitting time.
