slightly immature, but ladies and gents- it is 4/20 and i have been sober alllll day. and i don't think i'm going out tonight. instead i'm going to build a 1/4" jungle!!! hurray!
i took a swan dive down some steps in the theatre last night. i was all dressed up from designer presentations, so laying in crumpled heap of pink dress and heels at the bottom of several stairs looked twice a pathetic.
i also almost brokethe chop saw/lost a finger at the prop shop today. typical responses- sam asked if i was okay, jim called me an idiot, mirana didn't notice and andy made fun of me for the following twenty minutes. they suggested a safer alternative- inseatd of cutting 2"long pieces of 1x4 on the chop, run it through the band saw, where your fingers are about 1/3" from razor blade making hundreds of repetions a minute. while i was doing that and sweating bullets that i was going to slice my finger off, sam decided it would be really funny to bang a gong behind me.
thank god i still have all my fingers and a sense of humor.
