York vs. Shrewsbury: The Saga Continues
Yes, I am a SHREWSBURY GIRL in York. Over the years I've heard and dealt with alot of different labels. Anytime I grace Baltimore with my face I am called one of the YORK girls. In Pittsburgh I'm just SHREWSBURY. Either of these terms are expressed with excitement or denouncement. I'm Erika to all of my true friends. That's all I really care about. I'll admit that I have become a bit indifferent to many things that I once found important. That's what happens when a person grows! Maybe some of my actions aren't exactly exemplary. That's because I think for myself, instead of looking toward someone else to inspire my actions. I can't adhere to another's morals and ideals if they conflict with my own beliefs. I've got better things to do with my life, than sit around getting coerced into bullshit situations. I've realized where I am right now is impasse and I'm not going to deal with it anymore. I'm sick of ignorant people and their bullshit friendly veneer. We've all got problems and some of us have got it worse than others and it shows. I apologize if any of this sounds banal, or if it's just an understood-unsaid rubric I missed out on. Compiling a list of all the atrocities and disapointments I've experienced in the past 20 years of my life would only be the antithesis of what I'm trying to say... I have no dreams of an innocuous marriage with smiling children, and a homely abode. If anything, those three things would be apparitions haunting me in nightmares. All I want from life is happiness, friends, and music.
It's time for an aberration. In the end you and I will learn to adapt.

Keight's party ruled hard! I had sooo much fun. Rolling around and aquealing... fake fights rule. Throwing flowers into a ceiling fan and into your mouth! Ya'll betta not reckon with us ladies!!! We're more boisterous than the boys these days! It sucked that dave booker and his stupid friends were there and that they shoved a hand gun under Keight's chin. Then fired blanks out as they peeled out. Who ever stole my cellphone and threw it on market st... well guess what... I GOT IT BACK because I'm a good person! What goes around comes around assholes!
Went to Horrorfind! STARED at Bruce Campbell 3 times but never met him! Got awwwwesome dvds, pins, a shirt and a hoodie! It was totally worth not spending any money the weeks prior!!!
Saw Warzone Womyn and Endless Blockade yesterday. Whooaa, mama likes! Ran into a bunch of other friends! Got some Jeff Gentle kissy time... and I am looking forward to seeing him next week! Also, my trip to NYC to see my beloved Erin Death!!!!!!!!!!! Then to Drew's in Philly!! I'm so amped!!!
