My heart is heavy in my chest and it's going to take some kinda of miracle to lift it.
It's been a hectic few months. Holidays, roller derby, and work. I was supposed to go to the West Coast next month.. but that's not happening. This weekend is my very first bout. I am very nervous. I have been going through bouts of depression, anxiety, and dizziness. With only 3 days until we play, the vertigo has gotten worse. I need a chill pill, bad.
I got lost on my way to practice lastnight. I'd only been to bladerunners once before and had completely forgotten the way. I realized at home that I had google mapped the wrong address. My boss scheduled me to work both of my practices this week and the day of my bout. I'm supposed to be there at 3:00 and he has me getting off work at 3:00. I went above his head and had my schedule changed so he spent the first hour or so of my morning berating me while I put away 387 cases of booze. I said nothing in return which infuriated him.
I talked to my mom on sunday and she's not sure that my dad and her will make it to my first bout. He had surgery on his right eye. Then blew out blood vessels in his left eye while he was puking. So he is basically blind right now.
I ran practice last week and turned into a total bitch. Knowing that I wouldn't make any practices the following week I was agitated by all the girls that weren't participating in our scrimmaging. They just didn't realize how lucky they were to be able to be at practice I guess.

I'm hungry and worn out, but I must finish my laundry and clean-up! I've got my entire team coming over for a pre-bout meeting to discuss strategies, uniforms, and such later tonight AND I gotta make sure my bedroom is ready to accommadate my lovely house guests this weekend. I can't wait to see Ms. Myers and my SISTER!

___EDIT I just got the city paper from the crazy mocha coffee shop.. I'm in that too.. and might i add, I look like a BEAST when I'm jamming.. ahah. I'll put a picture up when ever they update their website!@ahaha
