And, I'm going to pretend I'm doing this all spread out for the sake of Tracy and her fingers... not because I'm a little late on the bandwaggon as usual.
Anyway, newest (and youngest) to oldest! I am not stealthy, I'm really not.
Chuck Bartowski (
knowsnokungfu)
- Is from the TV show Chuck! Which is an awesome fun little show that deserves far more love than it gets. It focuses on... strangely enough, Chuck! Who goes and gets a bunch of government secrets stuffed into his brain and drama and comedy ensues.
- Fifteen, tall, lanky, and the younger brother of awesomebigsis. Same universe and everything. He spent the summer at home with their kind of nutso and decidedly flaky father, and finally decided now to join her for the school year itself.
- He is a bit of a nerd.
- ... Okay, he's a lot of a nerd. In that adorable and dorky way that just makes you love him to pieces and want to ruffle his hair and take him home.
- The boy can BABBLE. Especially when he's nervous. It happens a lot around pretty girls and scary people.
- Also a hopeful little romantic, even if it rarely works out well for him. By rarely works out well, I mean in canon he usually ends up with a gun against his head. Poor Chuck.
- Quite simply, he's a sweet, funny guy, and a little too trusting for his own good.
- One of these days he'll end up with that government supercomputer in his noggin and get embroiled in a life full of spies, danger and conspiracies. One day!
- For those of you who don't watch and don't know: Chuck NBC Promo. YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING. We need all the help we can get to keep saving this show.
Effy Stonem (
pastmewrong)
- Sixteen, a junior, and another lanky brunette, this time from British TV show Skins.
- Misanthropic, enigmatic and elusive, according to the Skins promotional descriptions. Basically, she's cool, detached and distainful 25% of the time, smirky and smug and Better Than You the other 75%.
- Is a little manipulative, a lot secretive, and has a lot of trouble dealing with (and admitting she actually HAS) emotions. She likes to think she's independent, completely emotionally unflappable, and needs no one.
- This is a big fat lie, and I'm sure this will become obvious at some point soon.
- To quote from her mum: "She's so good at concealing things, and hiding. Avoiding... But I do know her, and I know that she's got so much love in her heart, that the thought of letting it out, showing her cards, it scares her to death."
- The girl does smoke, drink, swear like a trooper and do drugs with absolutely no qualms. Believe it or not, I have dialed her back on that count, a LOT.
- That said, she is actually smart, even if she hides it well, and finds reading people and situations a lot easier than actually dealing with the emotional side.
- She was weirder and creepier BEFORE she watched her brother get hit by a bus, which... is saying something, I think. Guilt and having to look after him did a lot for her.
- One of those messy and broken characters, and it has to get worse before it can get better. So... At least I'm probably going to be nicer than canon? Probably.
- This is the one where I have to say, if there's anything she says/does that bothers you, please please talk to me, because she can be abrasive and will manipulate people for entertainment if she sees the opportunity. She doesn't really do it to be mean, she just can't help herself sometimes. OOC =/= IC and all that jazz.
- And for those of you that haven't seen this one: Skins Season Three Promo and a couple of little clips and one interview, just to give you a feel for her. Warnings for the bad language and the casual drug use on this show.
Angela Montenegro (
flashesforinfo):
- Is from Bones. Pre-canon, seventeen, a senior, and originates from the year 1995. Still a little weird to her.
- Is one of those endlessly positive people, who believes in love and good times, and living in the moment, and all that good stuff.
- She just looooooves people, and parties and anything in that vein. It's amazing I've managed to keep up with someone so chatty this long.
- Dating Hannibal King, and currently chock full of all those mushy feelings that my other girl would roll her eyes at in disdain. They are just sickeningly adorable right now. Really.
- Since she has a boyfriend and awesome love life of her own now, she's all for trying to fix up other people's. Little bit nosy, yes. She just wants people to be happy.
- Has one of those ways about her that seems to attract people and make them comfortable. She's usually got a smile, and will flirt with anything that moves.
- People will get called 'Sweetie' (or occasionally Honey, or whatever other little endearments come to her), whether they like it or not. It's her thing.
- She's got this famous father, who she doesn't bring up all that often, just because she likes to get by without his reputation and fame, since he is in fact in ZZ Top. Yes, that one.
- One day, she'll grow up to be a brilliant forensic artist, be BFF's with doesnt_vomit and design and create her own uber-holographic-visualisation-machine-thing, dubbed the Angelator. ... You know, ten years or so down the line.
And once again I'm just going to link back to
Cindy Mackenzie and
Shawn Farrell, since the likelihood of running into them is severely decreased due to their alumni-ness.
I'm Emma, a twenty-one year old graduate with a crazy obscure degree that seems to be making me sadly unemployable right now. Sigh. So I currently have far too much time on my hands (even if a large portion of it seems to be getting invested in friends and WoW lately) and am around online a looooot.
I'm very easy to get along with, I promise, and while I am absolutely horrible at getting down to pinging people OOC-ly when I don't really know them, people are completely welcome to grab me if I'm on AIM (ihatefrills) or shoot me an email (3.mackenzie [at] googlemail [dot] com) to plot or whatever. If I'm bored, I will tend to get talky at you, even if it's just supposed to be quick. Sorry?
