What ho!

Tiny, my little WD passport of 110GB, had been a sweet companion for a few years. He had his problems.. sometimes making clicking noises when I tried to start him up. In the end he just continued making those clicking noises. Apparently, according to a few reviews on the net at least, this model wasn't very long lived. Thankfully I didn't have anything important on it as I had anticipated that death was near.
Then as I, a few days later, spoke to my dad he said he had some problems with a newly purchased portable external harddrive and I told him that mine had brokded. The next time I saw my dad he had a little box for me with a little Seagate portable :D Not for free, sadly, but I didn't have to pay him full price which was naisu. This new one is only 298GB(or 320GB, if you for some reason prefer their system) but I never felt like 110 was too little so I'll definitely manage.
I've never tried anything from Seagate before though.
And it doesn't have a name yet. I'm leaning towards Wooster, I've been watching "Jeeves and Wooster" a lot the last week, but I'm not sure. We'll see.

The electricity is apparently going to be turned off for a while tomorrow.. D: I have no idea for how long or at all what time they will turn it off. I really don't like not knowing these things and I don't understand why they can't give some sort of time frame. Maybe it's just being turned off and then on again. Oh, well, we'll see.

Film: I've watched District 9. It was pretty good, definitely well worth watching. And it was very nice with a sci-fi film situated in Africa! Although I must say that I was pretty confused in the beginning with all the white people..
Book: "And Another Thing" by Eoin Colfer. It's supposed to be the sixth book in "the Hitchhikers' guide to the Galaxy"-series. I'm about halfway through at the moment and well.. I can't say that it's bad but it's just not as good as it should be. Eoin Colfer is a pretty good writer and I have liked every book of him that I have read but he's just not Douglas Adams. It's probably better to have somewhat low expectations of it and I do think mine were a bit too high(THE HITCHHIKERS' GUIDE TO GALAXY FFS!) Buuut maybe it'll get better.

shiny things, eoin colfer, douglas adams, computers, district 9
