Video Interview: This is a little bit awkward. I'm not really sure what to say...
'How old am I'? I don't think I was ever told. Not by dad, or anyone else. In some ways, I'm only a few weeks old.. in others, I'm probaly about twenty. See, I'm not from this world... I'm the first one from a different world. And I wasn't taken by Shade, either: I came here on my own.
To see other worlds and save civilisations, that's what I thought. And then I found this world. Which definately needed some help.
[SILENCE. 15 SECONDS. NO BREAK IN VIDEO INTERVIEW.] ... I guess it's my fault if you're here from another world. Since I was the one that told him about them- and he found a way to bring you here. I'm sorry... but no one will see this until I'm dead, so... you'll never know it was me. And I can't die- I have a lot of places to go and see and save.
What do I think of this place? ... I've seen war. I've lived through war and fought, and my dad was there. But we saved everyone. But I don't think he's ever seen... a world quite in the state this one is.
I was almost caught by a Winger when I arrived. But I think my prescence scared it, and confused it; I suppose it could be from my biological structure, with having two hearts? Since I'm not entirely human. It might scare it off.. I wonder what Shade thinks.
I'm... I guess I'm... loyal to Shade. And he's seen inside my mind.. seen all the knowledge I have. That's why I'm head of the training unit and have my own team, according to him. Since I know a lot of things. He trusts me, so I trust him. Yes, Shade, I'm being serious.
But I don't know if I want to fight anymore. Not like this, killing monsters that used to be children. Fighting's not always the way.. like dad told me.
[SILENCE. 8 SECONDS. NO BREAK IN VIDEO INTERVIEW.] But I don't see any other way out of this.
Any Other History Points: On the planet of Messaline, The Doctor was 'captured' and his DNA was replicated and rearranged, to create a soldier to fight in the war on the planet. This was Jenny. Jenny started off life as a complete soldier, determined to fight and ready for anything. She had several talks with her father, who detested the fact she fought, and found that fighting wasn't the only way, and that she didn't have to kill everyone all the time. From this, she grew and matured, much like a child would mature into an adult.
She was briefly invited on a trip on the TARDIS, but this was cut short as when The Doctor resolved the mystery of 'The Source', Jenny was shot by one of the team leaders. She effectively died in her father's arms, but as he left, Jenny regenerated. Instead of staying on Messaline, she followed in her father's footsteps to go and visit new worlds. That was how she found Shade, as she arrived on this planet first.
Personality: Jenny is a very serious and determined young woman. When she sets out to do something, she strives to complete the task to her full ability, and without fail. She is occasionally mischevious and acts like a little kid, though she usually remains mature. Like her father, she has a very analytical mind, and is easily interested in anything new and unexplained, especially anything on this world, since it is all new to her. She is usually cheerful and optimistic, though she can slump into periods of sadness and depression.
Above all else, she is very stubborn and sticks firm by her beliefs, and will very rarely shift her opinon, carefully explaining it to whoever's listening. She does however, listen to anything anyone else has to say and takes it all in, since some of the things she stands by aren't always the right thing, as she found out when spending time with her dad.
Jenny has mixed views on fighting- born as a soldier, she is very strong and acrobatic- however, she knows that fighting isn't the only way to resolve a problem, and will usually try not to kill something if at all possible, or even avoid harming someone. In that regard, she has a strong sense of justice.
Change Power: N/A. Any other abilities: Being born from a machine, Jenny was imprinted with enhanced military knowledge and thus, has a vast array of abilities and techniques, and can use just about any type of weapon, including swords. She is also a fast runner and can get out of sticky situations with her acrobatic-like skills.
Third Person Example: Jenny breathed out, slow and steady, letting the puff of air cause the hair limply hanging in front of her face to blow haphazardly forwards.
"Fight!" she yelled, her voice loud and clear. As if in unison to her voice, a set of five youths ran foward, charging and screaming (which would definately have to be corrected... that was giving away positions more than anything else could), jabbing their blunt swords into the hay filled wire meshes that had been laid out in front of them, again and again.
Jenny watched in silence as they carried on, making notes in her mind. These were by far the best set of youths she'd trained lately.. a lot of them didn't understand the positive side of working in a team. But really, she couldn't blame them- how could they form friendships and teams back in the Dorms when most of their friends were taken away to be killed? It just didn't happen.
She bit her lip as she watched though, a small voice in the back of her head telling her this was wrong, all of it. Fighting... there had to be another way, there just had to be. Even if this world called for it... and she'd originally rejected Shade's offer of teaching youth's how to fight with her advanced knowledge, she had to give up and take up his offer. She couldn't reach her ship anymore.. it was too far away, too unfixable. She wouldn't be surprised if Shade's robots had salvaged it by now for any of her spare supplies.
But she did know, that if she had to fight, and teach others how to fight like her... she'd have to give it her all. And make sure none of them were killed, whatever happened outside the safe training areas in the Sub.
