I'm curious as to whether anybody's reading this who isn't on my friends list. I can think of at least one person who might be (are you there, Justice?) but I don't know if there are any more. I don't mind lurkers on principle, so there's no need to be sorry. I'm just asking because I'm trying to figure out if there's a good reason why I shouldn't lock my journal. I was kind of hoping people would chime in and declare their presence so I'd know who, if anybody, I'd be excluding if I locked it. But it's ok if you don't want to. It's just harder to take people into account if I don't know who they are--but if that's ok with you I don't mind either.

I look at your journal sometimes when I am looking at Chris's(stopremembering) friends list. I would love to add you as one of my friends but I totally understand if you don't want to do that, since we really don't know each other.

I'd love it if we could add each other. I always thought about doing it before but I guess I just hesitated out of shyness.

Sheesh, you're such a gossip. As it happens, I have a few separate reasons for thinking about doing this, none of which are terribly scandalous. But I don't really feel like mentioning them here, as you might imagine.

Don't be embarrassed! I've met quite a few nice people, including some close friends, because we read each other's journals due to a common friend and ended up adding each other. I'll go ahead and add you in case I make the change. You don't have to add me back, but if you'd like to I certainly wouldn't mind. I'm not freaked out about whining.

Yes, I'm here-I'd be a little disappointed if you locked your lj, but don't let that sway you-it's likely to give me a reason to send out a how you doing email more than once in a blue moon.
