the real world sucks
yea it def. does. to all my friends in college, stay there as long as you can, because the end of college brings real world, and it's so hard to actually do anything sucessful. So far, i've worked part time jobs, nothing in the realm of mass. comm., but i have a bunch of leads (or ledes, if this was a journalism article) and they aren't coming back with anything yet. CBS is still jerking me around, ESPN comes up every now and then (up right now), now i know someone from my congeration that has connections to a local news station (News Channel 12), and FPC is knocking at the door, and i'm waiting on a good job from them. So far, nothing.
I'm applying to become a temp (substitute teacher) for the hackensack system and there is so much bullshit and money involved, and it's not done yet. I still need to pay 75 dollars to process paperwork, i had to pay 78 to get fingerprinted, and 7 to the city of hackensack, and 10 to fpc for an official transcript.
