1)       Introduction
“Jezebel? This is Mister Zakariah Jenkins. He will be your new tutor.”
The boy twisted around in his chair, electric blue eyes studying the timid man standing next to his father. He gave a charming smile. “Greetings, Mister Jenkins. I’m sure we’ll have a wonderful time together.”

2)       Love
When Zakariah first said ‘I love you’, Jezebel didn’t believe him. The second time he said it, after breaking away from a sweet kiss, Jezebel said he still didn’t believe it-but only because he just wanted an excuse to be kissed like that again.

3)       Light
Carsten frowned. “The lights are to remain ON whenever I am in the room with you.”
Jezebel frowned as well. “I would never go anywhere near you.”
The German man huffed and crossed his arms over his chest. “I’m not concerned with that. I’m concerned with who else you’ll be touching.”
Zakariah tried to pretend like he didn’t hear that.

4)       Dark
The boy always enjoyed how pale and ghost-like his fingers seemed when they wrapped around the strands of Zakariah’s dark hair. He also enjoyed how his reflection looked in Zakariah’s dark eyes. He enjoyed it even more when Zakariah’s body hovering over his was the only thing visible in the darkness of his room.

5)       Seeking Solace
“Did you do something wrong?” Zakariah scolded automatically as his pupil shuffled into the room.
Jezebel didn’t say anything-not at first, at least. He slipped up between his tutor’s knees and hugged his arms around the other’s neck. “Nothing more than usual,” the boy finally said, but Zakariah knew he was lying.

6)       Break Away
He was quite certain that it was Jezebel who had kissed him first. Regardless, he didn’t want to be the first to break away-and obviously, neither did Jezebel.

7)       Heaven
“Ahh… This must be heaven! Only heaven could house such an angel as yourself.”
“I would appreciate it, Mister Hargreaves, if you saved your base pick-up lines for the pretty little ladies you woo out in the garden. And two more things: Never refer to me as an angel, and never call my home heaven.”
“Then this can only be hell from which this demon of passion-“ Jezebel was silenced by a hand to the back of his head.

8)       Innocence
There was always something innocent behind Jezebel’s kisses. Zakariah would be forced to admit bashfully that he had never had much experience with kissing, but he was quite certain nonetheless that the boy’s kisses were innocent.

When he said that to Jezebel, the brunet only giggled and called him naïve.

9)       Drive
“It must be because he’s German,” Jezebel suddenly said aloud during his tutoring session.
            “Pardon?”
Bright blue eyes turned towards Zakariah. “He’s German, and I think that his pent up sexual drive is what is causing you to be so distracted.”
Flustered, the dark-eyed male slammed one hand onto the table. “I told you to stop suggesting things like that!”

10)   Breathe Again
Zakariah was never quite sure he was able to breathe properly again after his first encounter with Jezebel.

11)   Memory
“Zakariah, my good friend, do you remember that one time in college? When you got drunk and I was in the bath-“
“FIEND!” Jezebel shouted, but it was directed at his embarrassed tutor.

12)   Insanity
Jezebel didn’t like being left alone. Sometimes, Zakariah would give him a sweet, silent kiss filled with promises and disappear through the door. The moment it clicked shut behind him, the boy felt like he was trapped in a small box. Slowly losing his mind until the man came back and kissed him again with more promises.

13)   Misfortune
“Ah, such luck…” the brunet lamented. “Will I be invited to your wedding, at least? I bet she is a pretty little girl-I’ll promise not to steal her away from you, like she took you from me.”
Zakariah couldn’t find any words to respond with.

14)   Smile
He never liked to see Jezebel smile at him during parties. He would smile at the pretty ladies just the same way. It was a very fake smile, Zakariah had realized.
The boy’s real smile was much more dazzling. And was reserved only for him when they were alone.

15)   Silence
Once their bodies relaxed back onto the mattress, Zakariah could hear Jezebel’s heart beating against his chest in the silence. It made a beautiful rhythm under his kisses against the boy’s bare chest.

16)   Questioning
            “Did you finish your homework?”
            “Of course.”
“Did you complete the reading I gave you?”
            “Of course.”
“Did you prepare for today’s quiz?”
            “Of course.”
“Are you paying attention to me?”
            “Of course.”
“Did you know that your pants are unbuttoned?”
            “Of cou-are they really?”

17)   Blood
Jezebel bit him once-on the shoulder. It was supposed to be playful, but his little teeth were sharp. To make up for it, his soft tongue dabbed at the wound.
Zakariah had to push him away when the boy tried to bite him again lower on his stomach a little while later.

18)   Rainbow
            “Mister Jenkins?”
            “Yes, Mister Hargreaves?”
“I think we should go hunting for a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Maybe we can make the little dwarf thing give us a castle, too.”
“Shut up and concentrate on your essay. And they’re leprechauns, not dwarves.”

19)   Gray
            “Mister Jenkins?”
            “Yes, Mister Hargreaves?”
            “You have a grey hair.”
“Will you stop playing with my hair!” Zakariah fended off the boys hands.
“Ah, but Mister Jenkins, your hair is so soft!”

20)   Fortitude
Whenever Zakariah carried him back to safety after he wandered away and lost himself, Jezebel knew that there was no better place to be. No other place would protect him even half as well as Zakariah would. Sometimes, Jezebel would put himself in danger just to feel that comforting embrace.

21)   Vacation
            “Mister Jenkins?”
            “Yes, Mister Hargreaves?”
“When you and Mister German go to the beach together over your next vacation, please make sure that you cover yourself with sunscreen thoroughly.”
“Yes, yes, I know. Don’t let Carsten help me put it on. Anything else?”
Jezebel frowned. “Oh, well, I never thought about that. I was more concerned with the fact that if you were sunburned, I wouldn’t be able to push your around in bed for awhile.”
Embarrassed, Zakariah snapped his bag shut and rose brusquely to his feet. “I hope you finish that paper before my return next week.”
“Will you punish me if I don’t~?”
“Goodbye, Mister Hargreaves.” He left the room without giving the grinning boy a kiss on the cheek.

22)   Mother Nature
Carsten took a deep breath, his hands slipping into his pockets. “There is nothing so calming as the British country side,” he said with a content sigh.”
“Hmm… I wonder…” Zakariah mused softly, his fingers gripped tightly with Jezebel’s.

23)   Cat
“Do you like cats, Mister Jenkins?”
Zakariah looked at the smiling young woman over the rim of his tea cup. “I do prefer cats over dogs.” He returned her smile as he set the cup and saucer down onto the table. “Why do you ask?”
“Oh, a friend of mine has a cat, and she just had kitten-my friend needs to find homes for them.”
He paused for a moment in thought. “I will have to ask my land lady, but I would love to be of help.”

Later that evening, as the tutor was preparing to leave, he was stopped by Jezebel’s hands pawing at his back. “Yes, Mister Hargreaves?”
“Don’t you already have a cat, Mister Jenkins?”
            “Not that I know of.”
The boy made a sound in frustration. “Oh, come now, Zakariah,” he purred into the other male’s ear. He curled up around his tutor and nuzzled the side of his face.
“Jezebel-” He was silenced as his tutee nipped his ear and traced his long nails down Zakariah’s arm.
            “Meow~”

24)   No Time
As soon as Zakariah opened the door to his room, Jezebel crashed into him, smothering the young man with frantic kisses.
“Jezebel, calm down-what’s wrong?” The black-haired male carefully pried away the boy.
He whined, pulling at his tutor desperately. “You’re leaving soon, right? And I won’t be able to hold you again.”
Zakariah forced the brunet to look up at him. “I told you, I am breaking the engagement.” He leaned over to kiss Jezebel softly. “I will make it so we have all the time in the world.”
Jezebel buried his face into Zakariah’s chest and muttered something undecipherable.

25)   Trouble Lurking
“I sense some trouble lurking behind you,” Casten said stiffly.
Zakariah arched his eyebrows, twisting around to look over his shoulders. “It’s only Jezebel.”
The writer scoffed. “My point exactly.”

26)   Tears
The pretty little ladies always had the sweetest tears, Jezebel had said once. Zakariah never bothered to ask why the boy was making them cry in the first place.

27)   Foreign
“Jezebel? This is my friend Carsten. He is visiting me from Germany and will be staying with me for some time.” Zakariah indicated to the blonde man at his side.
“Germany, huh? I heard the people there are all drunks who like to party into the wee hours of the night and harass women.” The boy didn’t look the least bit interested.
The newcomer snorted. “You stupid Brits and all of your rumors.”
Now Jezebel looked started. “He speaks English?! I thought all German’s were ignorant idiots.”
Zakariah gave him an angry glare over the rim of his glasses.

33)   Expectations
Jezebel pulled out of the kiss and frowned. “Hmmm how disappointing.”
Zakariah was flustered. “I don’t know what you were expecting, Mister Hargreaves, but don’t kiss me and then say you were disappointed.”
The boy ‘hmm’ed again and leaned back in to kiss him a second time. “You’ll get better with practice, Mister Jenkins.”

39)   Dreams
It was always an idle day-dream of his to think that maybe, one day he would have a normal family. Not one where he had to struggle to support himself and an ailing sibling, not one where he had to move around from place to place and hold odd-jobs-but one where he could settle down with the one he loved and be happy. Zakariah wondered briefly if he could make his dreams become reality, and wondered how he would be able to fit Jezebel into those dreams.

47)   Creation
“Do you even think God has a sense of humor?” Carsten asked absently one day.
“He must have if he bothered to make the Germans,” Jezebel replied without missing a beat.

54)   Tower
            “Let’s play a game.”
Zakariah opened one eye, craning his head a little bit off the pillow to stare at the boy as he perched eagerly above him on the mattress. “What kind of game.”
“One of those sexual fantasy games. I’m going to be the poor boy locked in a tower and you have to come and rescue me.” Jezebel’s eyes were bright with excitement.
The young man groaned, letting his head fall back onto the pillows. “Where the hell did you come up with this idea?”
            “Should I rescue you instead?”
            “Shut up, you wanker.”

55)   Waiting
“I’ll hurry back,” the black-haired male said softly as he left a kiss on the boy’s lips.
“I’ll be waiting,” Jezebel said as Zakariah closed the door behind him.
He wondered how much either of them really believed their promise.

56)   Danger Ahead
Jezebel held out one hand, stopping his tutor from unlocking the front door to the small flat.
            “What is it now, Jezebel?”
“There’s something dangerous in there,” he muttered, creeping around the black-haired male to peer into the window at the side. “Hmm. Just as I thought. It’s sitting at the table.”
Frowning, Zakariah leaned over the boy’s shoulder and stared into his living room. “Jezebel, that is only Carsten.”
            “Exactly.”

58)   Kick in the Head
With a yelp of pain, Zakariah rolled away and clutched at his head.
            “Wass wrong…?” Jezebel questioned sleepily.
“You kicked me in the head!”
The boy’s blue eyes were blurry with sleep. “Lemme kiss it an’ make it better.” With loose limbs, he pulled himself on top of his tutor, draping himself over the other male’s shoulder. “Hmmmm here you gooo…” Jezebel pushed Zakariah’s hand out of the way, leaving several sloppy kisses in the black hair before he made a content sound and snuggled back into sleep.

60)   Rejection
Jezebel opened the door without even knocking, pausing for a moment to take in the room. “Where is Zakariah?”
“In the bathroom,” Carsten replied without even looking up from his paper.
The boy immediately flounced off towards the door to the small bathroom, disappearing behind it a moment later.
The blonde didn’t stir at the sound of the muffled shouting, only making the effort to turn the page when Jezebel slunk out of the room a moment later. “Denied?”
            “Shut up.”

64)   Multitasking
“Mister Jenkins, I can tell you’re trying very hard to ignore me and grade that paper at the same time,” Jezebel said with a giggle. “And I can tell that it’s not working very well. So maybe you should stop multitasking and just pay attention to me.”
“Attention whore,” Zakariah managed before the boy forced his attention away from the paper.

65)   Horror
Carsten was frozen in the doorway, his blank face fighting to hold back an expression of horror.
Zakariah tried to pull away from Jezebel, but the boy wouldn’t let him. So all he managed was to make a frustrated sound in the back of his throat and wave his hand angrily at the German.
“Don’t just stand there and watch if you’re going to make a face like that,” the brunet snapped, finally allowing the young man on the chair before him to catch a breath.
Carsten’s eyes jumped back and forth between Jezebel perched on the edge of the table and Zakariah sinking down in his chair. “I’m sorry-it was like a train wreck. So horrifying but I couldn’t turn away.”

66)   Traps
When Zakariah was first pulled down into the bed, the lips of the intoxicated Jezebel brushing over his exposed throat, he knew that he was trapped. The boy held him prisoner in a growing attraction, and he didn’t really mind.

73)   I Can't
“Leave me alone!” Jezebel challenged harshly, trying to keep his distance from the shell of a man before him.
“I can’t!” Zakariah returned desperately. “God as my witness, Jezebel, I can’t!” He was grasping the back of a chair, trying unsuccessfully to keep himself on his feet. Slowly, he sunk down to his knees and pressed his forehead against his fingers. “I can’t leave you alone, I can’t forget you, I can’t forgive you-I can’t stop loving you… Jezebel, please…”
The brunet’s voice caught in his throat. He hated the way his laugh sounded more like a sob. “I can’t.”

77)   Test
“If you fail this test, Mister Jenkins, I won’t ever talk to you again.”
Zakariah furrowed his brow. “Now, Mister Hargreaves. I am the one who administers the tests around here.”
“Hmm, good answer,” he replied, reaching in to steal a kiss. “Okay, you pass.”

79)   Starvation
Their frantic hands and hungry lips reached eagerly for any space of bare skin as the clothes were peeled off layer by layer. Zakariah pushed the boy down on the bed, climbing in on top of him. He pulled away for a moment and Jezebel moaned like a starving child, reaching up desperately for the young man’s broad chest.

93)   Give Up
“Would you just give up already?” Zakariah asked with a heavy sigh, fighting away the boy’s teasing fingers.
“Oh come now, Mister Jenkins, don’t be such a poor sport.” Jezebel gave a winning smile.

99)   Solitude
The other side of the bed is cold, Jezebel realizes. And on the lonely winter mornings when he wakes up alone, it’s freezing.

100)    Relaxation
Jezebel made a content sound, snuggling up against Zakariah’s bare chest as the black-eyed male slipped one arm around his shoulders and kissed the top of his head. “Good morning,” the boy cooed.
“Good morning,” Zakariah said with a soft smile.
