01 - We're Not In Wonderland Anymore, Toto
We pan in on our hero, Hatter, in his home in 915 Bilko Boulevard. By now, he's been awake for approximately six minutes, staring at the ceiling. No, he wasn't slowly waking from a groggy sleep, comfy in his bunny slippers as he realized he wasn't in his office.
No, he'd figured that much out already. He'd also figured a small list of other possibly important facts.
1. There was a woman laying beside him. He pondered for a moment whether he'd gotten drunk and done some unmentionable things involving ducks and lacy underwear, but he highly doubted it. As much as he'd been tempted to drink after Alice left, he'd been a bit more concerned with that, and the rebuilding of a society.
2. From the look of the room, which was lit with early morning sunlight peering in, he certainly wasn't in wonderland anymore, nor did it look anything like the modern day home of the Oyster world.
3. Probably more important than all of this, he had no clue where the hell his hat was.
Without much warning, he darts out of the bed, the room, and the house, stopping only when he reached the sidewalk to turn around and stare at it.
"......"
A few minutes pass.
"......."
A small second.
"Um."
Another.
"Excuse me."
