(no subject)
To finish off my weekend, Sat. was just an adventure like always-going from party to party and trying to find somewhere to eat. Sunday we drove back to G-ville (which took us 7 hours due to traffic) Yea, it really sucked.
Monday i went to 3 classes, FINALLY got "qualified" for food stamps (which is a definite plus), and i signed up for a bunch of events for work which means extra money! =)
Today i went to my one class, i sent a "resume" to be a promoter at a club here in G-ville, and I finally turned in all my papers for the nanny service. The lady says she'll most probably find a job, but to keep calling her!
I only have a few days left of this semester which freakin rocks. I did it. I made it through my first semester in college (w/out going insane). Quite an accomplishment if you ask me. I am looking forward to Christmas break because I'll get to spend time with family & friends. But honestly, I kind of wish we could skip it. Because I don't have a lot of money to buy people gifts, and I know the financial situation back home isn't doing too good. But whatever, I guess I'll have a "real" Christmas this year, because like they say its not all about presents. And for the past 3 years, my family always goes up North to see snow and experience a real winter, but not this year, because of the expenses. But oh well, there isn't too much i wanted anyway.
Well, I must study my booty off now, Chemistry Quiz tomm. =/
