i totally LOVED the CASA meeting. A bunch of cubans gathered around, being loud, laughing, and talking about lechon. How much better could it get??
I saw a couple of people i knew which felt great and we all bonded. They have a bunch of activities which is a great way to get involved with school. I signed up for a talent show (which is basically like autumn capers for u hialeah people). Theres one problem: the show is Oct. 1 which is only 2 weeks away. And i was planning on going down the weekend of Sept. 24. Thats the weekend before the show, so i know i will miss practice if i go down to Miami. Do you guys think i should just forget about the show and go to miami anyway? Or stay in the show and just go down a few weeks later?? HELP PLEASE!!
Tomm. im heading to meet with some lady who will hopefully inform us about a temporary job. Hey anything with $$ will help me at this point. Also, were considering donating plasma. It pays 60 bucks. Thats my halloween horror nights ticket.
Friday night im heading to Simons where CASA is holding a lechon/club thing that im super excited about! And then sat. is the mandatory meeting for Gamma Eta that i plan on attending. So hopefully that works out good. But til then..im just loving UF =)
