There is always a way to work out financing school. Sometimes it takes a bit of research to find out the loop-hole of the program that no one knows about, but there is always a way. Have you looked into financial aid at all? There are various kinds of financial aid and some of it is interest free so any loans you took out would not be accruing interest while in school. A lot of people look down on loans, but I view it as the most important investment you will ever have. Almost everyone takes out a loan for a house and no one thinks twice about it. Why on Earth don't people feel the same about their EDUCATION? It's insane. Whichever way you decide to fund your education, know that it is entirely worth it. It seems like a lot of money to be throwing down, but the return on it will be ten fold.

If it helps for perspective, I am literally pulling out about $60,000 for my first year at NYU. Yes, $60,000. That's more than a down payment for a house. However, after 3 semesters, I will have a Master's degree that says NYU on it and that is going to put my resume on the top of the pile almost every time. Think about the end result because that is what you're paying for. You can be poor now and get the education that will make you comfortable in the future, or you can stress about the immediate concerns (and I know they are stressful, believe you me) and keep stressing about them because they'll never go away. You're doing a GREAT thing for your future and the future of you family.

Keep your eye on the prize!!!!
