So an offer on a wonderful house got accepted a week ago.....

And today we found out that the listing agent is a shiesty little fuck. Excuse my language. Since he just "verbally" told us that our offer had been accepted, he left himself legally open to accept other offers without telling us. So a cash buyer came along and stole it right from us. What he did was unfortunately legal, but very VERY unprofessional, inconsiderate, and downright rude. We could have now lost out on some other houses we might of had a chance at since we haven't been looking for over a week.

My mom wrote him and the board of realtors a letter. We know it won't do anything, but we just want to be able to MAYBE affect the emotions of the guy so he knows what he did was wrong. So many realtors are so freaking greedy. I'm so glad we have a good one, and that my mom used to be one so she knows what she's doing.

ugh. So frustrating! But we have another house that accepted us and I wasn't too thrilled about the house last time because we couldn't even see the whole thing. The renters were very unwelcoming and locked all the bedroom doors upstairs so we couldn't even see them. It's in a nice neighborhood, i'm just not that fond of the neighborhood. And it has a REALLY small back yard which I HATE. Sean and I love to hang out outside. Back yards just make a house. You can't really do much to improve a small one. I'd take a big dirt one over a tiny landscaped one any day. But, beggers can't be choosers. And the house was built in 2004, and is 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and 1800 sq feet. A lot nicer of a house than I would have ever imagined being my first home, let alone at 23. We're going to look tonight, and hopefully Sean and I fall in love. If so, this deal might actually work.

We love living with Doug and Erica cuz they are great friends and we get along so well. It'll just be nice to have our own place, AND our doggie back. We miss Louie soooooooooo much. It's just better for him, for Doug, and for us if he stays with my parents until we have our own place.

If we do get a place, we're going to need to rent out a room though. Just a heads up to anyone that might know of someone that is interested. They would have to realize that me, Sean, and my parents are the landlords. Technically, Sean isn't, but he's my significant other so I say he has a say too! :)  Obviously there would be guidelines to be followed like asking before inviting anyone over other than your significant other or what not. Animals would definitely have to be negotiable. I know I have doggies, but that also knows I know what they can be capable of! So a well-trained doggie, I don't think would be a problem, but I'd have to think about it. Cats wouldn't work cuz I've gotten super allergic since moving out and Sean is kind of allergic too.

I don't know why I'm talking like I've already got a house and like people would be lining up to move in. haha  ah, wishful thinking. I do hope we can find a roommate though or else I'll have to rent out the whole house to someone. I think we'll charge somewhere around 650 for a room plus utilities included. So like 500 for the room and 150 flat for utilities. Of course that's depending on the size of the rooms. I'm not going to try and be unfair and charge someone 500 for a teeny tiny bedroom. Okay, I'm done talking about this. Just keep your eyes and ears open for anyone interested in renting a room in the next few months in case we do get a house. Thank you!

ummm.... I need to start running again. Seriously. I'm getting quite the beer belly again. I really need to give up the beer! I just love it so much! Damnit Dad. I blame him completely. We both have the beer loving gene. Wine is my friend though, so I need to switch to that. Seany has slowed down on the drinking, so that should help me to lose the weight too. Really though I think the running is what is going to do it. ughhh.... the motivation....

um... okay so I've been saying how Seany and I are going to Vegas in September for my cousin's wedding and trying to get people to plan on coming with, but with money and everything it's been hard. I mentioned it to Marisa last week, and her and Josh are probably going to fly out from Indiana and meet us there! I'm so stoked. If all goes well and both boys get along then we'll probably save up to go visit them in Indiana next year. They're close to Tennesee so we'd all take a road trip to Nashville for the weekend or something too. I think that would be so much fun. We've been talking all the time for a few months now and it's really nice. We used to be so close and I think we both went through stages of not being that great of people. Now that she has Brody, she's so much different. It's nice to have rekindled our friendship.

It sure would be nice to be able to scrounge up some money to visit Stephy and Sean too,but I doubt it.  :(   It's crazy how much we still miss them. It's hard to find friends like that.

Anyways, I wrote way too much. I'm just trying to kill some time before Seany picks me up.

Aubrey's dance recital is this Saturday. That should be real cute. Last year's was ADORABLE. Then Sunday we're bbqing at my dad's house. I'm bringing some macaroni salad and beer. Or maybe I'll get the recipe for Erin's delicious pasta salad.... hmmm.... Anyways, it should be a really nice day. And I get to see Louie, Jay, Sonia, and Mischa all in one day!!

I guess I should go now. I've written a book.
