mmmm shoes, dancing and...dead kitties? :( nooo
WHOOOO IT'S FRIDAY sweet.
I made the mistake of wearing really high boots to class today. Damnit. Try walking from 43rd and 7th to near the Physics building. I was very tired after that 20 minute hike. At least I looked good. Walking back home, I decided to hide out in starbucks to let my feet rest. Sheesh. Not as hardcore as I used to be with uncomfortable shoes.
I think I'm turning french. See: every single one of my outfits lately. Yesterday I looked like a cross between a French girl in a Japanese school girl uniform and a 1920s mistress of some sort. I was confused.
A serious shopping trip is in order to look half way decent for this ball on Sunday...serious. Most of tomorrow will be devoted to it, I imagine. Mmmm, shopping. I also need a new hat. Brown, preferably.
Oh yeah, and last night at the Russian was amazing. Except the part where I think I hit a cat or something on Nate's vino. That was scary. It ran right out in front of me when I was driving on 17th and Roy. I don't think I killed it though, because I went back to look and whatever it was was gone. But in any case, the dancing was good. Adrienne, Miriam and I practiced the second half of the big apple and I even got to do it all the way through, with music, with the good people in front of a crowd! Yay! I also got the chance to dance with a couple of really good leads, which is intimidating, but very fun. I've decided that I'm coming out more, no matter what my lazy/incredibly busy boyfriend is doing. I love dancing so much and I really want to get better.
