Back in Seattle now.

The rest of the camping trip (Sunday) was amazing. We found a place to rent big inner tubes from and spent an hour and a half floating down the Wenatchee river in the sun. It was awesome. There were rapids on the river, which was fun to ride, but mainly you just floated downstream. I got sunburned because it was so hot…it hit over 100 degrees yesterday. Crazy. After that we went swimming back at the camp site, then I got up enough courage to take a long bike ride through the trails by myself. And I didn’t get eaten. Woot! We had tacos for dinner (my mom’s boyfriend is such an amazing cook), and hung out by the camp fire until it got late. I feel like the boys got a lot more comfortable with me, since they were including me and joking around. Cameron (my mom’s boyfriend’s son) and Jake (my brother’s friend of 8 or so years) as well as my brother and his girlfriend decided they were gonna come up and visit me in Seattle sometime. I hope they do. I like feeling like I have a family that wants to spend time with me.

This morning we were up early packing to beat the traffic back to Seattle. I’m excited to be home, but I’m glad I went on the trip, despite initial dislike. I actually had a lot of fun, once I actually took some time to enjoy myself. Now it’s back to the city to work. Or not, because neither of my jobs scheduled me this week. Bastards.

Speaking of work, I’m applying for a new job. Again. I hope I get this. I really don’t want to work as many hours as I’m gonna need to at the Express to make enough money to support my shoe habit. Oy. I hate that job.

Today? Seeing Nate and hopefully Sonny's later on tonight. And now since I apparently have the rest of the week free, I'll probably go home to see some high school friends. Not working is lame. Well, not having money is lame. Argh.

Oh well. If anyone has any free time, give me a call.
