I recommend you to watch Date Night. It's nothing deep, but pure entertainment and fun, kinda reminded me of a Hitchcockian comedy (like Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Carole Lombard).
If you can get into the 90's style, I think you might enjoy Melrose Place. The first season is really boring and starts out with cheesy episodic storylines, the story only starts to pick up in the last few episodes. By the middle of the 2nd season you are hooked, and up to the season 4 finale it keeps getting crazier and more fun. It's the show of campiness, sharp insults, catfights, and the most ridiculous storylines ever. This 1:30 minutes promo says is better than I do.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxf9sqSdX5k And oh, the writing, me and a bunch of other melroseans have been writing season 8 for a few years now (the remake doesn't exist in my world). :)
For 6 years :) It was around the time I got into the whole new age-iness, reading Shirley MacLaine's books. Plus I've always felt passionate about animals, no more of them shall be butchered because of me.
Ha, that's funny- "Georgia's" shown with someone named Billy.
It's been 8.5 years for me. Hard to believe it's been that long really, but at the same time I'm so used to it now. What pushed me to finally do it was the environmental benefits, but I'd always had the animal [rights] ones in mind.
I was never big on most meats either. I crave bacon sometimes, which is why I'm eating soy bacon now. The hardest thing for me to give up as been marshmallows of all things (I don't eat gelatin). Luckily I found a company that makes vegan ones, but they are expensive.
Ha, that's funny, I didn't think of the girl in that icon having red hair. At first I thought you meant this one, as it used to be my default icon. Oh, and tell me sister that- she has natural red hair and hates it, though she gets compliments on it all the time. Mine is actually brown.
I used to like ducks. Bacon, hmm..I liked the atmosphere of barbeques more than the meat itself, lol. :D
The default icon one could be auburn I guess, that glowing, slightly red shade. Such beauty makes my heart soar even on a livejournal icon :)) And your sister is a lucky girl, but I assume we're all programmed to love the opposite of what we have.

8.5 years is pretty great. I've never been huge on eating meat to begin with, so I could get used to it easily. I almost never crave for it anymore.
Btw, I love your default icon! Red hair is like one of the top 10 greatest things in the world :)
