Vampire Diaries. Grar, need more. D<
Almost caught up on Supernatural. \o/ I think I'm five episodes or so away from being caught up completely. Been taking a break from it since it was the only thing I was watching for a few weeks there.
Still slowly making my way through CSI. That's going to keep me busy for a while.
Been playing Suikoden Tierkreis. The names aren't very Suikoden-y, imo, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Right now I'm grinding for levels and doing lots of trading so I can finish buying uber-equipment for my entire army. I really like the music and visuals. The plot's interesting, too, if kind of odd for a Suikoden game. I'm rather pleased that the Hero has dialogue and a personality rather than being a silent protagonist. I named mine "Alexander" because Alex was sitting in my lap watching me play when I started the game. My company is Raven Company (Raven is Alex's middle name) and my castle is Valhalla because I fail at coming up with names when the option pops up. :D;
I really like how the support characters are actually useful in this and I'm not making >E faces whenever a new recruit turns out to be one. Admittedly, I tend to just use Erin who has managed to save my party from messy death more than once but I like Eunice, too, in certain fights. It's really cool how they all do something different. I actually like picking up support characters for this reason. It's also really awesome how some of them can combo with fighter characters which is another reason why I use Erin a lot. >.>;
Like usual, I've attached to random secondary characters that I wind up using a lot. In this playthrough, it's Morrin, Yovel, and Maybelle. They have a way of wandering back into my main party. I'm making a vague attempt at getting everyone around Level 30 and equipped with good weapons and armor before advancing the plot. I use Sisuca and Marica a fair amount, too, and I just now started using the princess who I thought was a guy until someone referred to her with feminine pronouns. She's pretty useful now that I've gotten equipment for her that doesn't suck and she has Equilibrium to keep her from losing her balance after her falcon attack. \o/
I also like that you can change their weapons. That's possibly my favorite thing about this. The flexibility's nice.
