Hormones are slowly settling down. I hate the menstrual cycle.
Slowly making my way through Code Geass. I think I'm on ep. 4 or 5 of the first season? This one I'm going to savor after I blazing through Fafner so fast. (I'm going to have to rewatch that one to make sure I got it all right about everything the first time.)
I peeked at the new sex game people have been mentioning on my f-list lastly and sort of exploded with sparkles and glee at SOMEBODY PLAYING BABY #1. HEEEEEE, SOMEONE'S PLAYING MILLE FEUILLE THERE. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY PLAY HIM BUT I AM ECSTATIC. HE WAS THE LAST CHARACTER I EXPECTED TO SEE THERE BECAUSE MILLE FEUILLE IS AWESOME AND SORCERER HUNTERS IS AN DEAD OBSCURE FANDOM. And he looks to be pretty good, too, at first glance. <--- totally typed that as "glace".
Oh, man, I've been so nostalgic for Sorcerer Hunters lately, too. It was the first fandom I was really actively involved with and the one that introduced me to yaoi and shounen-ai. (Marron/Gateau~~~~ <3 <3 <3) I'm really tempted to app for it with one of my SH muses. (Oh, god, Carrot in a game like that would be asijlajljilajil HILARIOUS. I would die. Oh, how I would die. And it would be glorious. And I have written Carrot before, not in ten billion years and how I wrote him then sorta makes me cringe but EPIC. EPIC CARROT FAIL. Ftw. :D)
Ahem. *breathes*
My attention span is not holding up for my
kochounoanbu app. I'm really tempted to just let the reservation go, finish with the Tenipuri dressing room I finally got around to registering, and dump him in there so he'll stop buchouing me and fairydance, play tennis with other Yukimuras, and quietly lust after squadrons of Sanadas.
I'm on another old school RPG spree. Taking a break from Saga Frontier to play Treasure of the Rudra(s?) which was the last RPG put out after Final Fantasy VI, I think? It's like a blend of Saga Frontier and the Trinity system from Suikoden III, only you can switch between the three main characters by just resetting. Yesterday, I played a bit through Riza's scenario and I think I'm going to move on to Surlent because he's a mage, I like his sprite, and the magic system in this game kind of pwns any other I've seen. You create your own spells by entering in "mantras" which are basically combinations of root syllables modified by prefixes and suffixes. You can also enter in random words in English and sometimes romanized Japanese and have them turn out to be spells as well. Trying out different combinations to make spells in this game is really damn addictive. >.>
Been playing Rogue Galaxy with Corv. Nishiura Tomohito is definitely one of the best unsung Japanese composers out there. He composes some of the most lush, beautiful instrumentals I've ever seen. He's definitely among my top five (with Kajiura, Sakuraba, Shoji Meguro, Uematsu, sometime I oughta do a composer pimp post with my favorite instrumental tracks from video games.) I look forward to listening to the music from this game when we play it. XD The game itself is really neat, too, and strangely addicting. I have some nitpicks with the setting but nothing to keep me from enjoying the game immensely and the characters have their own charm, too. My favorite's probably Zegram because he's just so put upon and grizzled. XD I also like how he isn't naive or stupid (though he does his share of dumb things) and has a brain without being the brain of the group. He might be fun to play. >.> I should trawl for icons and screencaps of him sometime.
The alternate outfits in these game are a nice touch, too. I'm especially fond of Jupis's gay pink disco suit, Kisala's outfits, Jaster's suits, and all of Lilika's I've seen (except her default. I don't like her default). Oh, and Zegram's pimp coat. Can't go wrong with the space pimp look. *inserts lame joke about Zegram's Women here*
Aaaaand... enough chatter. I'm off~
