Just when I thought I'm going to end this summer with a fun-filled beach and trekking adventure, our outdoor club outing, scheduled for tomorrow is postponed not because of the rains but because there are no available ferries to take us to the beach (well yeah, also because of the tropical storm(?).
I think I will end this summer without experiencing the sand, the beach (I had had enough of the sun!) or at least the chlorine-filled swimming pools.
Kahit Pansol lang sana papatulan ko.

Anyway, for experience of the lifetime I did join the "Tour of the Fireflies" where we biked for 50-km and savored all the air pollution from different parts of Metro Manila. The distance was manageable but the glistening heat from the paved roads plus the sun's rays are pure torture. I got prickly heat afterwards but I really enjoyed cycling.
But I still want to go to the beach.

Because I want to go with the fad, I managed to have an ebook of "Da Vinci Code" and read it for few days just to know what the hype was all about. The suspense is there. I wasn't just too impressed with the ending. All the search for the grail was just about that? Pero pwede na rin.

It's fun to have rainbow connections all over the world. But the timezones suck, especially if they live in other continents. I always have to compute the time difference when I'm talking to someone who lives in California, while the other one is in Vancouver, Denmark and London. It's harder to make all of us online on a specified time. They are on while I am sleeping. I couldn't catch up on the latest gossip.
