Going away to catch up

Because I don't want to drone endlessly while working, I decided to take a breather. Again.

I can only think of few major accomplishments this year and those are not even job related.

I've mastered the art of popping microwave popcorn. I still don't know how to use the coffee maker because I'm not a coffee drinker. I've learned to beg for food from section to section, using my thin frame as an excuse and presence of mind. Perhaps thats what you call a nose for food. It's also called "proactive," one of these management terms to stroke a rank-and-file employees ego. Actually, in the 2nd floor they displayed this posters of 7 Habits with nature backdrop as a motivation to employees. I like the flock of seagulls there.

The one game that I want to prove to them that I can deliver the points, I wasn't even fielded. That's on the championship game of bowling. Well, I was feeling lucky that day and pretty confident I even air-dried my hair and parted it neatly on the sides for maximum audience impact. But my other teammates must be feeling the vibe too. So we won the championship but I wasn't able to play.

With badminton, well we won 1 out of 3 games and it was the game that I didn't play with my partner because she came in late for the game.

Okay, back to the breather. My supervisor said "again?" when I was filing my leave. Well, that's what VLs are for. Nobody says you can only take it when on summer or if you feel helpless about your position. He can't also say "No" coz my plane ticket was already booked a month ago, prior to the other provincial vacation.

I want to catch up on the Seasons 2-5 of America's Next Top Model and look for other things to get busy about. I also want to shop without that much time pressure. And to buy Amy's calculator. (Say you want the one with exponential features or the one that's pink and comes with a hello kitty case?)
