The raspy scrape of Emma's shovel on the sidewalk was loud in the stillness of the early morning air. Mifflin Street was quiet, even by the standards of residential Storybrooke, but the rhythmic thunk and scrape of Emma's shovel as she cleared Regina's walk was somehow soothing.
