TITLE: Some Dances in Harrogate - Three-Two Time

SPOILERS: None/everything as it exists in the future after the end of Series 1.
SEQUEL to a series of 7 connected one-shots too numerous to mention now, but most recently sequel to Generation's Game, reading them is now probably vital to know what's happening, certainly Generation's Game and Nourishing Conversation are crucial
SUMMARY: Hate is hateful all the time - depending when and where it's experienced, it can also be shocking - the only solution is to meet it head on, as a family.
WARNING: There are a couple of uses of racist and homophobic language - it is not gratuitous and relevant to the plot.
AUTHOR'S NOTE This is gentle fluff (promise!) - it has neither angst nor high drama but gently potters along and is almost certainly a little bit sugary and 'neat', but that's what this pairing triggers for me and I make no apology. It is technically self-contained, but there will be more self-contained one-shots in the same 'story canon' as long as the muse keeps writing, all under the banner of 'Some Dances in Harrogate'.
STORY CANON POINTS: To make things work, I've decided Kate went to Cambridge University (to compliment Caroline's Oxford University pedigree) and William is now there himself. Laurence is about 14 and in his last year before embarking on the two year GCSE courses (UK school years 10 and 11). John is still being brattish but the divorce is progressing to plan and very much 'off screen'.
