What an intense chapter. First, I liked how you showed JJ's doubts because that's how it goes - you get a few facts (that may not even be true), you construct a whole story around them inside your head and drive yourself crazy with not wanting to believe it and thinking you have to. She wants so badly to believe it's not true, but there's the logic...it's brain versus heart. That came across very well.

And secondly, I liked how you portrayed Emily as having dared to step out from behind her professional mask, only to now find she has nowhere else to go than back behind it, at least with regard to JJ. It's quite sad how each of them has her own personal struggle when all they want is to be together.

Looking forward to the next chapter.
