'Allo 'Allo, First

Henriette LaRose had always known she was taking her life into her own hands by joining the DeGaulle Resistance. She hadn’t cared, truth was she wanted to keep her family safe, even if it meant she had to risk herself to keep them safe.
She had been surprised by how quickly she had come to care for Michelle DuBois. The fearless leader of the local resistance movement. It was the first time she had fallen in love with another woman but she knew she could handle whatever may come of it.
The first time she had truly seen Michelle crack was after they lost several girls in a fire-fight, the woman had woken sobbing, the weak cry that escaped her enough to cause Henriette to wince, gathering the sobbing woman close, her hand brushing through dark brown hair, her touch soft on Michelle’s back as she stroked slow circles on Michelle’s back, her voice gentle.
“It’s alright, it’s alright now.”
