Author's notes: Okay, finally updated. Not sure how many of you are still interested, though a lot of you seemed to be with the end of Part 11. I'm sorry that it has taken so long (obviously), and I hope to never take four months or longer to update again. I can't promise that I won't, but I think I can promise that it will be some time before this story is put on such a long hold again. To overstate the obvious, this update is huge (I think the biggest update I've done). I know that some of you like to wait until you have read all the parts of a big update before commenting. But, since this update is so big, it might be best to comment on the three parts individually...if you feel you might forget whatever it is you were originally going to state. Also, since it has been so long since this story has been updated, and a lot of you will need to refresh your memories, there is a "Previously" summary (without spoiling too much for those unfamiliar with the fic) below. This update additionally restates certain descriptions to refresh your memory. On a side note, I am thinking of transferring this tale into complete prose format for those who would have liked this story much more in that form, or haven't given it a chance because of the partial script format. The partial script format will still be available for reading, if I go through with this; it's just that you'll have two formats to choose from. This update, however, deviates even further from script format...by allowing even more into the characters' minds than any other part. That is surely why it's so big.
Usual note: Partial script format. My first Legend of the Seeker fanfic story. For some reason, like a lot of others, I saw a great amount of romantic/sexual chemistry between Cara and Kahlan (it was actually because I started reading Cara/Kahlan fanfic). And because of this, I decided to write a story featuring them. I describe this as "The Blue Lagoon" meets "Legend of the Seeker." The story is also available at Fanfiction.net (PG-13/14 version only).
Summary: When Cara and Kahlan are transported to a far away deserted island, a new prophecy threatens to bring about the world's destruction. Richard, with Zedd at his side, will stop at nothing to find true love Kahlan, and Cara too. PARTS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5A, 5B, 6, 7, Interlude, 8A, 8B, 9, 10A, 10B, 10C and 11A, 11B (if you need to start from the beginning, need to catch up, or just refresh your memory).
Previously: Kae and the others battle Nicci, and Coron and Kae must face the consequences of Kae's power. Darken Rahl brings the young wizard Stathis Largos into his fold, hoping that he may be able to help ensnare the great witchwoman Shota. Shota, however, has her own motives for being near Rahl. Seeing that Cara is on the verge of confessing her feelings to Kahlan, and unknowingly at the expense of the entire outside world, the Blue Paradise creators take matters into their own hands. Nicci and Alaina do what they must to see to it that Darken Rahl's plan (which includes capturing the Supreme Seer Kae Andric) is a success. And Kahlan sets out to undo the creators' spell.
Update summary: Dealing with the aftereffects of the Blue Paradise creators' interference, Cara tries to cope with the fact that she has become sexually intimate with Kahlan. The Blue Paradise creators band together to stop Kahlan, and Kahlan tries to adjust to "the new Cara." Nicci and Alaina proceed in their goal to capture Kae, while Rahl proceeds in his goal for world domination. Zedd fears that Kahlan may have already fallen out of love with Richard, and because of this...they may be too late in ensuring the Seeker's presence in the world of the living.
