Two WMC canon questions

I'm wondering about two things:
1) Is the creepy FBI guy spelled 'Ash' or 'Ashe'? I've seen both, and am getting confused about which is correct...
2) How many years exactly has Lindsay pursued the Kiss Me Not killer? This is rather embarrassing, as I'm sure this came up... I thought it was in the scene where she and Ash/e were in the attic, but there she just says 'for years'.
