Community pimpage: Femslash Land
There's a fun challenge community all about femslash pairings, so come join! The second phase is just starting, so now is a great time to go check it out.
What is it? Femslash Land!
That doesn't help me. Really, what is it? Ok, so femslash_land fits into the category of "land communities," which until recently, I'd never heard of. But basically, it's an "interactive challenge community," where compete as a team (there are four teams) to gain points. Challenges range from crossword puzzles, to making a picspam, to writing a fic, to making up your own TV show! It's entirely focused around femslash pairings.
I can't write/draw/complete crossword puzzles. Do I have to complete every challenge? Definitely not. The more you do, the more points you get, but you're just supposed to do a minimum of one every two weeks, I think. But even if you think you can't (fill in the blank), participation is what's most important, and everyone is encouraged to try new things out.
What team should I join? Any one you want. There are four options: Team Crossover, Team Subtext, Team Canon, and Team Sweeps
I hate crossovers. Do I have to only write crossovers if I join Team Crossover? Nope. The team names are just for show. No matter what team you're on, you can write/make graphics/etc of anyone, as long as it's femslash.
Will I have fun? Yes! Unless you hate sunshine and puppies and girls kissing girls. Then you might not have fun.
