Oh, I hope this doesn't turn out to be the road to Hell!
Depends upon your definition of Hell. There are some challenges ahead.
Love Olivia's taste in art.
There was a whole bit about how she wanted the original but Alan wouldn't buy it that got cut for pacing. But she was right, she would have been sitting on a goldmine.
Eeehhhh!! The tension is so high right now, and still is not even on the meeting place yet. You are driving me crazy.
You love it and you know it.
Mmn, so somebody saw Olivia shooting the crap outta... That could mean trouble. I hope it's a deer and not Rafe, cause is somebody can mess this up is him.
Between you, me, and the lamp post - we both know that it wasn't a deer. As for who it was...well, keep reading.
Come on, Olivia, get that antidote!!
She would like to point out that she's been working on it. I think you might be getting death glare right now too. :)
Thank you!cherokeenightNovember 15 2010, 04:10:33 UTC
What a great update! I'm glad you're moving the story forward. All those details, like the safe combination, matter so very much. I know this won't go smoothly, but please, let this end well.
This is such an amazing story. Love that you're continuing it!
Loved when Olivia responded to Cyrus's comment that he'd have her back and she said that hadn't helped Marina, Harley or Cassie. :)
Love Olivia taking the extra few minutes curled up with Natalia. She's right that she really hasn't loved as intensely as she has with Natalia. Love it!

Once I start posting a story, there's no going back. My conscience will not allow me to leave it unfinished. (Not that I would want to abandon this one - it's too damn fun to write! And I owe it to "the girls.")

Cyrus keeps trying to be the guy who does the right thing. And he always screws it up.

Cyrus was involved with Cassie too? Everybody gets around soooo much in this town. lol
Oakdale - is that a town in one of the other soaps? It sounds familiar.
Olivia removed the Glock from its case, as well as two fully loaded clips. Slapping one clip into place, she chambered a round, double checking the safety It's not really all that important, but...don't believe Glocks have a 'normal' safety. I have a Springfield XD that is the same style as the Glocks, and the safety is actually on the hammer and the backstrap - there's no switch that you push/flip. Holding the gun correctly and pulling the trigger correctly, are what disengages the safeties. What I can't remember is if the Glock has the backstrap safety also, or just the trigger one.
Also: Olivia! Don't go through all your ammo in one go! Take the box with you. Or just shoot the one clip. As soon as she used 'em both, I started to fret. *frets*
And there is just NO way that things are gonna go smoothly with the exchange. NO WAY. *frets some more*

Yes. Cyrus's one night stand with Cassie led to the breakup of her marriage with Josh, and is why Harley decided not to come back to Springfield when Rafe did. And yeah...Springfield was a busy little town.

Oakdale was ATWT's town. They were sister soaps, so references to Oakdale as a neighboring town were common.

( ... )
Dammit they don't - argh. They have a 3 point safety system that only disengages when the trigger is fully depressed. RESEARCH FAIL. (Also I think I know how you got your LJ name) It's really not a well known safety feature, I don't think. I certainly had no idea until I was shopping for a gun and trying to find one that I could hold easily/securely (small hands). Pretty sure that "but where's the safety?" was one of my questions.
One would think so, and it does kinda fit, but...it's actually not where the name came from. When I created my LJ I was really into Poe, and Trigger Happy Jack was the first song of hers I heard. and now I'm gonna watch a whole slew of Poe vids and *happy sigh*

Thanks! Their story really is about the little details. I try to never forget that.

There may be lots of bumps in the road, but Otalia is endgame.
