I'm absolutely loving this, though it it feels a bit like watching a train wreck and trying to tell yourself to look for survivors when part of you wants to just close your eyes and screaming NOOO! The later isn't going to happen because it's too compelling

This is certainly a time and place where it requires, both skill and luck to survive...you can do everything right and still wind up dead. And even the smallest slip up can be a disaster.

Natalia and Olivia's skillsets are very different, their approaches to survival geared to their different situations...the thing now is for them to see how much stronger they'll both be if they balance each other.

The aftermath of Olivia's experience is likely to remain with her, so while the current "madness" may go, the insights will remain.

Dark water, hmmm? Can't wait to find out what that is about; where the parasites or whatever comes from? Kinda can't help but wonder if it's all from some sort of bio warfare gone horribly, horribly wrong...

Love the explanation for Natalia's style of survival, and how she's being using it for far longer than just since Afterworld. Heartbreaking, but very well done.

I dn't know how much explanation for where it came from there will be, but we'll see more of the hows and wherefores.

Natalia always struck me as someone who'd survived by staying under the radar...sorta just extrapolated from there. And yeah, it is rather sad.
