I was about to go, "OMG, Josephine, FTW?!" until she got to the mistake part. Then? Not so much. Also, I'm super interested to find out what happened when Natalia got pregnant because it sure doesn't sound like she and Josephine are remembering it the same way.

I really love this story. I think you are such a superb writer and the way you've been handling Natalia's conflict and really getting into it is awesome. So... *bows down*

I'm sure it goes without saying that I can't wait for the next update! :)

She'd needed him as shelter, a place to hide, and so she'd given him her body in payment. Later, when they were married, she'd sold herself in much the same way - this time in exchange for the normal family and easy life she knew Rafe had always dreamed of. - Neat lines!

You know what sucks? I saw this go up and I really want to read it, but Part 23 is still banging around in my head. I feel like I can't move forward until I'm done processing that part--it's making Swiss cheese out of my brain!

I spent many many years in Catholic school and I didn't ponder/analyze things near as critically as I have with this story. I don't know whether I should thank you or demand money back from my parochial school. :-&

I look forward to actually reading this update some time in the near future. :)
