The love for Spring Break 05!
WOW!!!! I dont think i have ever been so happy in my entire life! I just got back last night around 10pm from the best week ever!!! As all of you know, i went to Ft. Hood Texas to see my baby for spring break! On monday i woke up around 8, got all dressed up and i was on the plane to Memphis at 11. The plane was soooo gay!! haha...it was very very small, and very crowded but the only thing on my mind at the time was Bob. I rushed to get to the other gate because our plane got delayed and i needed to get on the plane to Dallas/Fort Worth airport from Memphis, but i made it! WHEW! lol..i finally arrived in Texas around 1 or so...wow...the thoughts rushing in my mind at the time was crazy!!! I loved it though. I walked out the exit, and all i see in front of me was him...we both had tears and it was amazing! It had been about 3-4 monhts since ive seen him so it was so nice to see him smile again. We then drove for 2 hours back to Ft. Hood. I finally got unpacked in the baracks and we layed down talking about things and it was just really nice. We walked around everywhere and met a lot of his friends!!!!! It was soo amazing. Me and him finally fell asleep around 9. Tuesday was awesome! He had to work but I got to see him at 5:30am before he left for PT, and then again at 8 before he went to work at 9, so that was nice. He suprised me for lunch and we went out to get something to eat. He then went back to work, and i walked around for a little bit, and watched some movies. When he got home, it was time to go out and have fun!!!!! We went to this couples house! Their names were Johnny and Kristine Sanchez. They are probably the nicest couple i have ever met, and me and Kristine instantly hit it off. She is sooo cute because she is 5 months pregnant, so it was cute, because i got to help her set up baby stuff!!! Kristine is 19, and Johnny is 20. We ended up staying the night there which was really fun because we didnt go to bed till about 11 or so. :)
Wednsday we took Bobs Sergents mom to the St. Austin Hospital for her to get some checkups done. It was really fun because i got to see a part of texas i havnt seen yet. It was about a 3 hour trip so we were having a good time. We walked around everywhere and got some lunch. Its really awkward at times because anywhere u go thats military informed, you either need a military ID or a drivers liscense, so i had to use that one. Hopefully in the future ill have a military ID ;) ..lol..anyways, we went to his pastors house to meet him, since i have heard so much i wanted to talk to him myself. It was so nice because i managed to get a lot said that i havnt said in days, months, or years...and he completely understood and tried to help me and bob build a stronger bond with each other, and he talked to us about what might happen or what we want to happen in the future, and it was very nice because me and bob both found out things we didnt even know about each other. I love everyone who i have met so far, and it only got better as the week went on...anyways.. we came home that night around 10 or so, and we just hung out at Bobs house..lol..its not really a house but you might as well call it that because he does live there..haha.
Thursday he had off as well! We had the best time together that day because on monday, tuesday, and wed., we were always over at Johnny and Kristines or Rick and Carlas house. We went to get some breakfast, then went to the Kallien mall, Target and the Goodwill!!!!! lol...the mall was awesome! We went into a lot of army malls and walked around, and then we realize its like 7 at night!!! lol...we went into a huge arcade place and we stayed there for 4 hours playing pool, slot machines, air hockey, and racing games!!!!! There is so much love and care for each other between us, and we enjoy each others company sooo much. We went to rick and carlas house to spend the night there! I love their house sooo much...they lived in a HUGE house! They have 2 children who are sooo much fun to play with. We watched movies and just hung out and me and bob played basketball for a while :) ...he won though, but it was perfectly fine by me lol. Me and bob watched fear dot com at like 11 at night...oh my goodness!!!! He has never seen that movie before so by the time we went to bed, we kept scaring the crap out of each other. It was just as ironic to the fact that we were sleeping in the computer room...hahaha..which made him so scared!!!! haha..but we just laughed about it. We had to sleep on an air matress which was fine..but carla had forgotten to tell us that there was a hole in the matress..hahaha...u can only imagine what the mattress looked like when we both woke up..lol.
It was finally friday....Bob had to work that day which was fine, but we woke up around 4 at rick and carlas for bob to be at PT by 5:30, so we got up and we went back there and he went off to work. We were both a little cranky, but as the day went by it became better. He got off work around 6, and earlier that day i spent time with Kristine, and we talked about her and the baby, and how me and bob met and how they met, and it was just really nice. Me and her cooked supper for the guys at johnny and kristines apartment since they are married they live off base...but anyways...it was nice because i also met another couple who was married and we just all sat around at the apartment and had supper and watched the movie Ladder 49....If you are sad about ANYTHING...watch that movie!!!!!It made me, bob, kristine, and johnny all cry....but its an amazing movie!!! Me and bob went home around 1am, and fell asleep.
Tears didnt end that friday night....yesterday was my last day there...We got up and had breakfast with Bobs friend Sam Hess...hes awesome!!! lol...we had eggs n stuff, but then we were on the road to drive around for a little bit because my plane didnt leave dallas till 4:30pm. We sat in his car talking about our relationship and everything and it was just a perfect week. Nothing wrong had happened, and nor did we argue or get on each others nerve..lol...So it was nice. We went to a christian store and he bought me a bible, and it was the same one that he has too, so that was nice, plus we went out and bought a camera to take pictures. We arrived at Dallas at 3 and i went through all of my stuff...it was time to go..We hugged each other for such a long time and discussed when we would see each other next and we just cried.
I dont think Ive had such strong feelings like that for someone...its such a different kind of care for someone than before...some people should be able to agree with me ...Nobody really understands till they see how happy they truly make them, and my family and bobs family and all of his friends in the army i met sees that in me and him. We connect on such a deeper level then we both have in the past. We said our goodbyes and i got on the plane.
That week proved how much we care about each other, and like we both had said at his house "Absence sharpens love, presence strengthens it."...its so true with us...When we are apart, it sharpens what we have as a couple...and when we see each other it strengthens us..it makes us miss each other and care for each other 3 times as much as it did before...We love where we are at right now, and i think it can only get better as time goes by.
He is taking leave from the army either in june or july, and he is comming down here then me and him are taking a trip to Wisconsin, which would be the second consecutive time in the past 2 years i have gone..but i love it!!!!! I cant wait!!!
